About us

Deep in the south of Suriname in the Coeroenie resort in the far southwest of the Surinamese district of Sipaliwini is the native village of Alalapadu which is part of the trio community. Around 110 people live there (around 16 families). The community lives in harmony with nature and believes that if you take care of nature, nature will always take care of you.
