On Thursday, May 25, 2023, the Surinamese Aviation Company (SLM) signed a delivery agreement with the Tuhka Foundation for Sustainable Development Alalapadu (Tuhka Foundation) for a period of one year.
In connection with the inauguration of the new Airbus (A340) ‘Pride of Suriname,’ SLM will introduce the exclusive flavor of Tuhka nuts, Roasted Salted, to its Business Class customers. These nuts will come in a special SLM packaging of 20 grams.
SLM is very proud to support the indigenous entrepreneurs from the village of Alalapadu, in the deep south of Suriname, with this new Surinamese product.
